Reiki (pronounced ray-key) means "universal life energy" in Japanese.
Reiki can be used in many different ways. It can be used to detect
imbalances on the physical, emotional and spiritual levels. Reiki can
even be used to heal past life issues.
During a Reiki session you will lie on a massage table fully clothed.
We will use either a hands-on or hands-free method to detect and
alleviate problems of energy flow . We often incorporate Reiki into
your massage session as well.
Like Massage, Reiki is not a one time treatment. It usually takes
several sessions to be effective. However, you should feel the effects
of Reiki energy after your first session and may feel deeply relaxed
and have a peaceful and profound sense of well-being
Reiki can be used on any living being so that, of course, includes
animals, and even plants. Animals benefit just as greatly from Reiki as
humans do.
